My Guide
One year ago, I was set apart as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. One whole year of standing as a representative of Jesus Christ. What in the world? My mind can not believe that it has already been a year. I feel like it was just yesterday when I was at the airport saying goodbye to my family. Oh, how much my life has changed, how much I have changed as a person. I have loved every minute. It has stretched me & pulled me but in the very best of ways. It is sacred. This calling is sacred. It gets me thinking of the mission of Jesus Christ. How sacred it was! To come pay the price for us & give us eternal life. He did it & He could because He is the Son of God. Being a missionary is special & I can do it because I am a daughter of God. I get thinking often about the sacredness to wear this plaque & I feel that sometimes I take it for granted. Sometimes it may not be marked in my heart. This week, I noticed a change. I saw things differ...
