We all sat there gathered around while one of the purest members of our ward explained to those two little girls, not even his own, about what it means to endure to the end. The scriptures passed around & each of the young ones there shared testimony of what they know. It was beautiful. The Andía family invited us, Melody, & Isabel to their house to do a family home evening. It was the first one these girls had been to. We sang I am a Child of God & it was the most happiest thing as I looked around & saw little Olivia singing without a book, just from memory & then as the last chorus began to play, Melody just looked up & kept singing from memory. "Lead me, guide me, walk beside me, help me find the way. Teach me all that I must do, to live with Him someday." Melody has been coming to church for about a month, just got baptized last week & yesterday recieved the Holy Ghost. She has a new light. She is opening up from her shy self. She is an example...

Another transfer came & went in the blink of an eye. So much change around the mission. So many new missionaries. It is so special to be around them. I stayed!! Hermana Hoopes & I get to go at this again together. I am so very happy about that. This area is special, we have such sweet friends we are teaching & have built such lasting relationships with the members. I just feel so extremely blessed. I can’t really even put it into words. I get to serve the Lord. I get to be a part of this amazing work. I get to help our friends find Jesus. I get to help the members stay or come back. I get to help the missionaries do the same exact thing & it is beautiful. This week a new hermana came to our zone! It was her first day & they were with us. We sat at lunch & I saw her looking around with a smile on her face. The Lord is working with us. On Saturday morning, we went to go see one of our new friends. Oh sweet Juliana. It was the first planned out lesson we were going to teach her. We felt like we should teach the Plan of Salvation. It was a chaotic lesson, her son was all over the place, she was up & down, but the spirit came still as we spoke of those doctrinal truths. She had lots of great questions which led her to understand more. We taught using the scriptures & one of the verses spoke of baptism. She went on to explain that that was her favorite part of all the verses. We explained how we baptize with the authority of God, & she wants to be baptized!! & so we will be preparing her for that day which will change her life forever. As we went on with our day, lots of people weren't home or just simply didn't have time to let us in. Until we passed by a dear friend of ours named Yamila. We have been passing by quite a bit for the past month. She works a lot so it...

As we sat there sharing the first vision, she said, "I just got chills all over my body." The spirit came to testify of the things we have been teaching. She felt it. We took that opportunity right away to explain the way that the spirit works & how important that moment was. We used the scriptures & she loved it. She was going around marking each verse we read. We invited sweet Melani to be baptized. We have been teaching her for a few weeks & we know she is just so special. We know that because there have been a few obstacles. There was some glitch in our records that showed we weren't teaching her & so it took us a minute to go see her at the beginning. We planned a visit with her last week & put it in our calendar, but disappeared & after the lesson had passed we realized she had been waiting for us because she put a picture of her drinking mate while reading the Book of Mormon on her story. My heart has been filled as we had the opportunity to listen to the Lord's servants this weekend. Oh how much love was shared. I could just feel it. They are called of God. Every time they speak, I can just feel it. I imagine them spending every waking moment looking for revelation on how they can uplift us & help us as we receive our personal revelation. On their knees often drawn out in prayer, thinking of us. & the Holy Ghost has been sent & filled their minds with all the words we need. I love general conference & I hope you all were able to listen & recognize the answers to your prayers. We are in the last wagon. The bridegroom cometh & we must abide the day. We want to see Jesus & oh how much he loves us. He wants us to come back, there is a place for each one of us. Don't be the weakling. You can add strength to your chain!!!
