Peace, Be Still

I am left in awe with each week that goes passing by. The time is going so fast & I wish I could slow it down. The transfer came to an end & this time, there's no changes! Each transfer to this point, there has been something of a change. I am used to change & I have been able to adapt easily which has been a huge blessing! I am going to get to finish the training of Hermana Manayay! At first, it was a struggle with her & I'm sure at the beginning I would've told you that I wanted a change. But as weeks have gone by, I have seen so much growth in her. Yes, I still struggle sometimes & my patience is tested, but there are so many little miracles just building up. The other day, we were practicing the lessons & I told her she was going to do them alone. She started to teach & I recognized how much she really has grown. I just sat & listened with a smile on my face. She has huge potential & is amazing! I can't wait to see what she can be...

Get Down On Your Knees

As I was on exchanges this week, we passed by a friend who was taught before. She came walking out of her house with a smile on her face & said, "I have two other Mormon's inside, come in." So we went in. And two members from Southern Argentina were there!!! What a sweet surprise. It was her brother & his wife, visiting before their temple trip. She told us right off the bat that she's not interested but she loves to spend time with us. We decided just to share a scripture!! Which scripture led to a duet from Hermana Trader & I. Which led to teaching parts of the restoration & the Book of Mormon. & these members were baring strong testimony along with all of it. We left her with a Book of Mormon & told her to read it & she agreed. A few days later, there was a Relief Society activity in the ward. Our friend came walking in with her sister in law. What a sweet surprise. We decided to go pass by her house again that night. I started off by sh...

To See The Fruits Of Faith

When we got here, we had a list prepared for us with the people who were progressing. There were about 15 people with good potential. One of them was Carina. Right as we started to work here we went and tried to visit all of these people. Almost nobody was home, so we decided to text each one. Finally got a response from Carina & it was a response to an invitation to the church. She told us she would come!!! And she did. Now this was three weeks ago. We finally were able to have a lesson with her. She had been taught by the missionaries in the past, her family consists of members, but it was not her time. She told us that now it is. She also told us that her nephew was going to be coming home from his mission next month and she wants him to baptize her. After our lesson on Saturday, we got a message from a random number of missionaries. It was her nephew, who is serving in chile. He told us he wants to join in on a lesson with her online. He told us, it is her time. She cannot wait...

Brim With Joy

There is so much faith in the hearts of children. They are so pure. I think that's why the scriptures talk to us in that way. Because we are to be like them. To be humble, meek, wise, & full of charity. Simón got baptized on Saturday. He is only 8 years old & made the most important decision he could've made because he had the faith. We passed by his house on Tuesday, to give him his first actual lesson. We taught him about all the steps he needed to take to get to Jesus. To have faith,  to repent, to be baptized, to receive the Holy Ghost, & to keep going & going until you're home, in your celestial home. We asked him if he wanted to be baptized. He said yes!!! Then he said tomorrow!!! He didn't get baptized tomorrow, because we still needed to teach him everything, but we passed by his house each & every day of the week to make sure he could get baptized on the weekend. He was overjoyed. & he understood everything. His heart was wide open to ev...
