Happiest Time of Year

Christmas is always cherished. As we went as a district to sing some hymns at a park, heads were turning, kids were gathering, & some were videoing. Our voices were starting to go away because we had been singing for a long time but decided we should go to the plaza. One of the members cleared a stage and we got up there to sing. When we started a guy took out his headphones, a couple started to sing on their bench, and others would stop and listen. There is a special spirit brought with song. After we finished, we talked to the guy with the headphones. He ended up listening to every song and was just watching peacefully. As we handed him The Book of Mormon, he promised that he would read but normally people tell us they will and don't. He is different. He will. He felt the spirit last night and we just know it. Keep Alejandro in your prayers.

It was a great week. Spent time as a mission, as a zone, as a district, and as a companionship. Celebrating Jesus. We went to Bahia Blanca to start the week and spent the day playing games, eating, and singing. We had interviews with President Marsden and he asked me in what ways my testimony has grown as I come to the close of my fourth month. The first thing that came to my mind is personal study. I studied before but it was almost out of obligation. I always knew The Book of Mormon is true. Now, I look for the time to read my scriptures, to study the word of God. That is something I never want to lose after this is all over. When you are studying that book daily, you will find all the answers you are looking for. I promise you that. So go pick up The Book of Mormon again, & read it. Every single day. Even if it's one verse or one chapter. It is so important.

We had exchanges and I was with Hermana Rojas. We all worked in the same area though because those sisters live far. So we split up our day and went to go visit inactive families and some references. We got so much done. It was so cool. Hermana Rojas speaks and bares testimony from her heart, and her heart is gold. She is so loving and is just a light. I felt so blessed to learn and to watch her be a missionary.

It was Hermana Burgos' birthday!!! With her at first, it was rough. We were in a trio and it was her first time being transferred out of the area Bahia Blanca after a year. I can imagine there was a little shock but as these past few weeks have gone by she and I have gotten lots closer! She is so cute and although sometimes there are a few little hiccups and I need to remind her to love her time here because there is a reason for it, she makes me laugh everyday, she has been working hard, teaches me Spanish everyday, and bares a strong testimony with power. We went to dinner at a burger place for her birthday and I hope she felt special!!!

For Christmas Eve, we spent the night with the bishop's family and the hermanas from the first ward! It was fun and we ate asado!!! Asado is the barbecue here! They cook it for every special event! On Christmas, we went to church and it was beautiful. I love Christmas Sunday. We ate lunch with our bishop's family! Also asado!!! So yummy hahah. Talked and watched videos of christmas and it was happy. Then we went and did our singing!!! But before, we stopped by the old stake president's house and he is blind. He is pure. He wanted us to sing for him. So his daughter started to play the piano, so beautifully, and we all sang. The spirit was so strong. I could have cried. He started to sing along too and it was so special.

Again, Christmas is always cherished. Although it is so different being away from home, I had moments spent here that I will always remember. My first Christmas is Argentina. & I love it here.

I love you all. I hope you had such an amazing Christmas!!! & I pray for you all the time.

With all my love,

Hermana Morley <3
