For I Will Lead You Along

Oh how full of gratitude I am. For the things that I am learning & for the people that I am meeting!!! For my time I had to serve in Villa Mitre & to have Hermana López as my companion!!! She is such an amazing missionary. Full of love, exactly obedient, hilarious, & diligent. She does all that she does with an eye single to the glory of God. I feel blessed that I got to watch her be a missionary & to teach these people with her. Even though it was only six weeks, I love this girl so much. She is a little ray of sunshine.

Transfers came & with such surprise. This week, I will be heading to Necochea!!! I am so excited. I have only heard good things! It's a branch, so there's a lot of work to do!!! Going to try to bring them a ward! My new companion is from Peru!!! Her name is Hermana Manayay!! This will be her first transfer in the mission, so I'm going to be a mom!!! Let me tell ya, I am quite nervous & I don't feel ready for this but I know that you never do! Also, it's the Lord who directs it so I'm trusting in Him. Because we are both new to the area, it will be interesting & I will probably feel lost but I know that the Lord will lead us where we need to go!!!

We had zone conference!!! So good. We were taught such important principles & learned how to be better missionaries!!! God is a God of miracles!!! He is never changing. He is the same today, yesterday, & forever. After zone conference, I had exchanges with Hermana Hardy. I was nervous to do them with her, which now is so funny. She is all light. She encompasses goodness. The spirit made itself manifest through each & every moment. I learned so much from her. When we got to her apartment, we finished our studies & had been sharing our thoughts, she began to cry & told me how I was an answer to her prayers that day. & I have to say, she was an answer to mine. She is an amazing missionary. She teaches with pure love. I needed that time with her. She helped remind me of gifts from God & how we have to put in the effort to receive them. She also told stories of angels & I just know how present they are in our lives.

We received a reference this week from a member. The reference is Gustavo. He sent us a message with hopes that we could teach his kids about Jesus. He has 4 kids who are all teenagers. They live in the farthest neighborhood of our area so we took the bus. He came to meet us & walk with us & gave a little background. We had planned to teach the restoration, but as we sat down my companion said, plan of salvation. So we had little conversation, a prayer, then started the lesson. Right off the bat, one of his kids, Christian, started to ask all sorts of questions. & they were unimportant. We're talking about Elephant God's. So my companion began to answer the questions & finally, I just put my hands up & said with tears streaming down my face & a heart racing a million miles an hour, "There are so many questions you could have, but when you look past the basic principles, like how God is our loving Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ came to the world to save us, & The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the kingdom of God on Earth, you are only inviting Satan to destroy you. When you stay within the basic principles & come to know of the truthfulness of them, you can never be lost in this world." This has been a huge topic on my mind lately. I studied a talk about this & I just know how important it really is. How real it is. As we left, my companion and I both spoke about how the spirit did not leave the whole lesson. I know there were angels carrying our words. So many people will get lost, so many people are lost, because they asked too many questions & looked too far down into false doctrine. There is an absence of the spirit when we let these false doctrines come into our lives. So please, look to the truth. Hold strong to the basic principles. I promise you, you will never be lost.

There are so many blessings prepared for us. It is a promise from God. There is so much in store. I read in doctrine & covenants this week & absolutely loved the last few verses of section 78!!!

D&C 78:17 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, ye are little children, and ye have not as yet understood how great blessings the Father hath in his own hands and prepared for you;

18 And ye cannot bear all things now; nevertheless, be of good cheer, for I will lead you along. The kingdom is yours and the blessings thereof are yours, and the riches of eternity are yours.

19 And he who receiveth all things with thankfulness shall be made glorious; and the things of this earth shall be added unto him, even a hundred fold, yea, more."

Live your lives so that you can be prepared for these blessings. Oh how I love each & every one of you, even a hundred fold, yea, more. & I pray for you.

With all my heart,

Hermana Morley <3
