At The Doors

As we sat in church yesterday, Carina raised her hand & shared that her time has come. How her husband went inactive years ago, but the missionaries kept coming by & one day she just realized that this is what she wanted. So she sought it out. The desire in her heart is pure. She has her difficulties, like all do, but she keeps pushing. She is reading the scriptures & coming to church!!! It was her birthday this week & we got to celebrate by having lunch with her. It was such a joy, we love her & her family. We are going to be jumping up & down the day her baptism comes.

Our sweet Karina went to Mar del Plata this week to get her patriarchal blessing. She had been so drawn to the idea of it the second we brought it up. So after general conference, when it was mentioned various times, she made an appointment & took her family with her. She is so good. A true disciple of Jesus Christ. Always serving & sharing the truth she learns. & she loves. She is a hugger & I love her hugs. Her family is so cute. We hope the rest can see the light & follow in those footsteps to follow Jesus!! They are close.

We got a referral from a YouTube ad. The ads from social media come in quite a bit & sometimes they are filled with false information so it's hard to get excited about them. We sent a text to the number that was given & he responded the next day. He said, Sorry I responded late, but I've been thinking & I realized that yes I want this. We have been having conversations all week & he has such potential & we are excited. He wanted to come to church yesterday, but he was in charge of his baby & couldn't get someone to watch her. But we are going to visit him this week & are praying for the very best. For him to recognize & feel the spirit.

We felt to knock doors on a certain street this week & so we went. The first person who answered was so cute. We taught & she told us that she would love to come to our church. We hadn't even invited her to church yet!!! Yesterday she worked but we have faith that in the next week she will be sitting alongside us. She was a little miracle this week.

Two missionaries in our branch came home this week!! They were faithful & good missionaries. The spirit as they spoke was undeniable. They are both part of a family that is huge & a lot of them haven't come to know of the truth yet. They have been home for less than a week but have been giving referrals already!! We know that they will be a huge blessing to this branch. We had them as part of a lesson yesterday & they both just bore pure testimony. We are happy they are home.

I finished the Book of Mormon this week. It is the word of God. I have no doubt about it. I read & I am filled with light. As I read, I paid attention to the ways we can invite people to come unto Christ. One thing I noticed is preparation. That word is used many times. We must be preparing ourselves, now, today. There are many invitations to prepare & to repent. I loved a verse in Helaman, "Yea, behold the time is now, even at your doors." Jesus is coming. We must be prepared. So "prepare every needful thing" & watch with peace knowing you were prepared, as He will make His return. Another thing that stood out to me was in Ether. Coriantumr leaned upon his sword, & rested for a little. But then he kept fighting with all he had, until he died. We have challenges. We fight battles. We get tired, lazy, or angry. The Savior is the sword. He can give us rest. We fight all day long, without realizing He is just right there. Lean on Him. Let Him fight your battles with you. You are not alone. You never are. "His yoke is easy, & His burden is light." He is the source we should be running to at all times. Not just in trials. At all times. Who better to put all our trust. The Savior of the world. Our Comforter & Redeemer. Jesus Christ. So I invite you, as the Prophet did in the last general conference. Find rest through Jesus. Find your strength through Him. Let Him be your Savior. Not just that He was & He did, that He still is & will be. Oh how much He loves you.

As do I, & I pray for you all. I hope you're all happy.

With all my heart,

Hermana Morley <3
