This Is The Christ

I know that Jesus Christ Lives. He is our Savior. Our Redeemer. Our Comforter. Our Shepherd. As you may suspect, I am going to talk about general conference. I was touched so many times by the spirit. The words, the music, the love. As it was starting on Saturday, I found myself writing in my journal, this is pure joy. & it was & it is.



In 3 Nephi 11, we learn about when Christ visited America. He did come. He was here. The people touched Him. They "did know of a surety." He is the Christ. He lives. They bowed down at His feet. As we should, as we wait for Him to come again. Love Him. Love others. Keep His commandments. The time has come. Knowledge has been fulfilled. Because of Him everything has changed. Study 3 Nephi.



Testify of Him. "Never give up an opportunity to testify of Christ." We need Him. Everyone needs Him. Arise & come forth, feel the prints of His hands. The spirit will make witness. Look for Christ everywhere. He is there. He lives. If you don't know it is true, find your testimony. Come Home. In Him, we are Home.



As we sustained the Prophet of the Lord, I could not hold back my tears. The spirit was all over. I could not deny it. I have never paid attention during the sustainings. This time I did, & I am so thankful that I did. He is called of God. I received my witness. I hope you can too. It is no small thing to have a Prophet in our midst. There is a Prophet in Israel. Follow him. Do not walk on the edge of the covenant path. Keep your covenants. Repent, & begin again.



Jesus Christ has mercy towards us. We can be saved. In Him, there is peace. He can save you. He feels joy in saving you. He is the only name whereby man can be saved. Hold to Him. Look upon Him. Lay aside every sin. He endured the cross & is now helping you carry yours. He will forgive you. The light can come back. I know that, because He forgave me. My heart felt so much peace & eyes filled with tears as my bishop said these words. "Mya, I can see the light of Christ in your eyes, He has already forgiven you." He has already forgiven you too. Don't look back. Keep going. Christ tarried a little longer. He will tarry a little longer for you. Let Him heal you. Jesus Christ rose again on the third day. You can rise too. We are engraven on His hands. He will never forget us.



Baptism. It is a treasure. Nephi returned to finish a message, he spoke of baptism. Jesus taught about baptism. Jesus Christ was baptized. He was perfect. How much more do we need to be baptized? We must build our hearts on a rock. Christ is the rock. When all else may fall, He will not. And this means taking the sacrament. It is another baptism. A time to renew our covenant of baptism. Take it more seriously. It is the most important moment of every week. Remember Him always. Examine yourself & try again. This time, with more focus on Him. It is pure doctrine.



Love. Love God. Love yourself. Love others. I don't know if you noticed but this was a big theme this conference. I also don't know if you know this, there are not assigned topics for general conference. The Lord needs us to love more. Avoid contention. Be peacemakers. Lift others up. Let people repent. Be humble. Forgive. Be filled with charity. "Let us become a true light on a hill, a light which can not be hid." There is room for everyone. Jesus invites all. Let everyone in. The best is yet to come.



Follow the spirit. Do not reason. You may miss an opportunity. Things will be made known to us by the Holy Ghost. & when you know. Bare testimony. The Holy Ghost will testify of your words. He lives. The spirit of the Lord will guide you.



Do you have sufficient oil in your lamp?



He can abide in us. Let us abide in Him.



"The words have been heaven sent."



They were heaven sent.



I pray you were able to receive answers to your prayers. I know I sure did & more. Go study the talks. It will bless your life. Follow the Prophet. Follow Jesus Christ. You will always win, if you follow him.

I am left full of gratitude. All that this year has brought me, blessings upon blessings that are just impossible to count. I am emotional while writing this email because I am here. Heavens Are Open!!!

I want to live like this. Drenching myself in the scriptures, every. single. day. Praying all the time. Trusting in the Lord. Strengthen my testimony. Honoring my covenants. And so much more. This past weekend, words of God were spoken to us by the Prophet, the Apostles, & the General Authorities of the church. We were uplifted, encouraged, and showered with love. I have listened to general conference all my life, but never like this. We gathered in the auditorium and sat to listen to every word spoken, taking notes along the way. I have so many things I want to say. Let's just say, if you didn't listen to conference this time... go & listen right now.      I want to just write some lines that stood out to me so much!!! If Christ were here, he would say He loves us. He would ask us to repent. With His help, you can carry any burden. See yourself as he sees you!!!
