Let Him In

As we went from house to house, the spirit was with us. It was with us that day especially. When we woke up that morning & planned, little did we know that our dedicated return missionary would be accompanying us the whole day. At 2, Enzo was with us. Started off a little slow, until we ran into 2 old friends of his. Shared with them the message of Christ & there started our miracles. Found our way to the house of our sweet new members, Thiago & Vladimir, this time in hopes to find their uncle. He was there!!! Nahuel is so prepared. He has been surrounded by light & spirit as his family has taken steps towards the celestial kingdom. We sat with him & shared the gospel of Jesus Christ. He was so understanding & listening so intently & his eyes beaming with light. He had entered into the church for the first time in his life on Monday & he said he felt something special. He has been grabbing the Book of Mormon & the pamphlets we have left the kids & reading them. He came to the district conference yesterday & was amazed at what he saw & heard. We left with an invitation to be baptized, he is praying about it!!! But we all know he will be baptized!! But that's not all, we continued on our way. Went to visit our other cute new member, Oriana!!! This time, Rodrigo & Enzo taught the Plan of Salvation so she could learn new things from new teachers!!! Oh the spirit was so evident. Piercing the room. Not only was Oriana listening, but her little brother too, Noah, who just turned 8 last weekend. We bore our testimonies, tears in my eyes, knowing that this Plan that God created for us is so perfect.  Again, that's not all. We got invited to a family home evening with, surprise, the Romeros. The room filled immediately. 15 people or more, learning about the things we need to do to put God first. It was so special, they are so special. Made our way home, smiles on our faces & just pure happiness.

Yesterday, we finally had a lesson with Thiago & Vladimir!!! Their mom has been so busy with work that we haven't found a time to visit them. As I think about it, it was a miracle that we found as much time as we did preparing them for their baptism!!! The kids rounded the table, with Nahuel, their mom & dad. We taught them of the Tree of Life. They were amazed at the tree & knew that that was the goal. It will be hard to get there, but with our effort, God will make a way. We testified, as well as Rodrigo, that Jesus Christ is the way. That this is His church. This is where we find joy.

This weekend, we had the privilege of having our mission president & his wife, & Elder Bedregal & his wife visiting our district for district conference. The spirit flowed as they spoke on love, remembering the spiritual moments, Jesus & his grace, ministering, The Book of Mormon, & testifying always. The church was filled with faithful members. I know our sweet friends that were there can not deny the spirit that was felt.

Saturday morning, I woke up & started to get ready. Brushed my hair & saw a bug. Took a closer look, there's 3. I'm so sorry, what? Lice. It was lice. I had lice. I wanted to scream. My companion was about to shower, kick her right out. I shower, we spent the next hour & a half scraping my head off with the sweet lice kit that my dear mom sent me with. My hair dried, we put some gel in, let it sit for 15 minutes, then scraped again. Then I showered again. Scraped again. Blow dried my hair, still gel in there, wash it again, blow dry it again. Put it right back, get ready for the day & we left. From 7:45 in the morning until 2 we took lice out of my head. Satan did not want us to leave that day. I'll tell ya, my head felt like it was going to explode. So much stress & so much pulling & scraping that happened to my head that day. & that whole rest of the day, I bothered my companion every 2 seconds to see if she could see bugs. Trauma. But all good now, washed the sheets, my clothes, & my sweet companion does lice checks for me. Yesterday there was 0. Yay!

Today is half way. I have spent 9 months as a missionary. What a sacred privilege. I feel so blessed, in each & every way. I could not imagine my life without this. It has been so joyful. Yes, hard is the sense that the people don't always want to hear about Jesus, but oh the miracles that just flow in. This is God's work. He is in charge. He is preparing people all around us. Look for them, & invite them to come unto christ. Be an example of light. God will place you where you need to be & he will give you the words, if you live worthy for it. So learn to love to repent. Humble yourself. Ask for help & guidance. He is so eagerly wanting to help & guide you. He just waits for us to make that first step sometimes. Trust in His plan for you. It is perfect. He will place people in your path & take people out. He is just helping shape you into the person He knows you can be. Know that God loves you, individually & perfectly. He lives. & Jesus is His son, who gave His life for us. He lives. He is the Savior & Redeemer of the world. Our saving grace. Let Him in.

Oh how much I love all of you. I miss you of course. & I pray for you, always.

With all my heart,

Hermana Morley <3
