Try

Spent the week inviting everyone to church because it's the thing that lacks a lot of the time. Every person it felt like, but not even just inviting them, insisting that it is the thing they need. To go & see. Something that has been on my mind a lot lately. We invite invite invite everyone & invite all sorts of things. To read the Book of Mormon for the first time, to pray, to go to church. All that they need to do is try. I have found that sometimes people struggle to take that first step, but once they do, their life changes completely. Our friend Patricio came to church!! My companion and another sister had a lesson with him on Tuesday when I left to go do divisions, he prayed in the lesson asking God to help him go to church. He made it & participated in the class!! It was so special. Not only Patricio, but Pablo, Isabel, Uma, & Yazmin came! It fills our hearts with joy when we see people taking the little steps in faith. Which one day leads to the big ones!

When I was in Necochea for divisions, we had a family home evening with Oriana & Noah. We talked about baptism because Noah is preparing for his big day. The spirit came flooding into the room as we watched the video of Jesus being baptized. It was special because Oriana was able to share about the day she was baptized not too long ago. My heart was filled with peace. Not only that, but I was able to see Yanira, Nahuel, Thiago, & Vladimir!!! It was pure joy. There is such a spirit with that family.

We had a lesson with our dear friend Luis. He had so many questions, but such good ones. We were given the words to say to help him understand more clearly. I studied about the gift of tongues this week. Not only are we given the language, but the gift of the spirit that we are passing along. When we are testifying of Jesus Christ & His gospel, the words will come into our minds & we will be able to share them. If, we have the spirit. & we have to work for that part.

This life is not easy. We go through hard things. But I feel so blessed & so happy that I have this gospel in my life. It is my joy. I have been a missionary now for 10 months. These people's lives change completely around. It is so amazing to see. When people do the small simple things, their lives change. So I invite you to do the small things that change your life too. Remember to pray, to read the scriptures, to go to church & take the sacrament. When you do that, you will be okay. You will find peace when things go wrong. You will find happiness when all is dark. You will find hope through Jesus Christ. Try it & see.
