You Will Know His Voice

The heavens cheered this week as Pablo entered into the waters of baptism & recieved the Gift of the Holy Ghost!! It was a sweet moment, very intimate because he wanted to feel the spirit. & it was there. When he came out of the font, his smile was bigger than I have seen. You could just see how much thought he had put into it. His desire is pure. God loves His children so much. We are so blessed to see it & to feel it!!! It was sweet, as he finished his interview, he came out & put his arm up in the air saying I passed. You could see the happiness in his eyes.



On a rainy day last week, a lesson fell through. This week, on a rainy day, that same lesson happened!!! Bruno came to the church for a lesson & we were able to give him a tour. We sat ourselves in a classroom & explained the restoration. His face lit up. His smile beaming, saying he felt the same way as Joseph Smith in the other churches he had been too, there was something missing. He took our invitation to pray & to read to know for himself if this church is true!! His heart is wide open & I just know that God will speak to his mind & his heart. He will for each & every one of us, if we just will open our hearts & listen.



Months ago, in the Necochea branch, we were doing english classes. One day, a young girl, Lucia, showed up out of the blue after seeing an invitation on facebook. She was shy but she was sweet. Started the process to help her recieve the missionary lessons with the other missionaries because she lived in the Güemes branch. She was golden. The gospel touched her heart & at the beginning of this month, she got baptized. On Friday this week, we had an activity to go out & visit the inactive members of the Güemes branch. Lucia was there & she went out with my companion & I. We got to talk with her about her conversion. She is so powerful. She wants to serve a mission & is helping her mom come unto Christ. I left overjoyed & feeling blessed that I had the chance to meet her that day in english class.



I had the opportunity to finish the Book of Mormon yesterday. Each & every time I read that book, my heart is filled with peace. Its words keep me going. My testimony of its truthfullness is growing everyday. I am so grateful for the guidance that it gives to my life. I am grateful for the effort that was put in to bring it into this world. I am grateful for a Heavenly Father whose timing is perfect & whose love is endless. I am grateful for the grace & mercy of His son, Jesus Christ. For the opportunity I have to repent & change each passing day. I am grateful for the prophet & the apostles who help lead & guide us. I am grateful for the priesthood. It is a blessing in this life. I am grateful for the people I love who stay worthy & true as they hold it so preciously. I am grateful for this gospel & the light & hope that it brings!!! As I was finishing the Book of Mormon, there were a few verses that stood out to me.



Ether 12:32 "wherefore man must hope, or he cannot receive an inheritance in the place which thou hast prepared."



We must hope!!! We must believe that God loves us enough to have prepared for us a place with Him!!!



Ether 12:34 "wherefore, except men shall have charity they cannot inherit that place which thou hast prepared in the mansions of thy Father."



We must love!!! Love the people around us enough to strive to go to that place, that mansion, that has been prepared for you & for them!!! To go there together, & stay. But go now, believe it now & prepare for it.



Ether 12:41 "And now, I would commend you to seek this Jesus of whom the prophets and apostles have written, that the grace of God the Father, and also the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost, which beareth record of them, may be and abide in you forever. Amen."



& we must seek!!! Seek Jesus. He lives!!! He is coming again & soon. Let Him abide in you!!!



"Now, you will still be startled to realize how familiar the face of our Heavenly Father is. But when you see him, you will know his voice, because you will have prayed, listened, obeyed, and come to share the thoughts and intents of his heart. You will have drawn nearer to him."



& when you do that, you will be better prepared for that day when you stand face to face with the Heavenly Father who created you & loves you!!!



As do I love you. So much!!! I pray for each & every one of you. I hope you are happy.

I am left full of gratitude. All that this year has brought me, blessings upon blessings that are just impossible to count. I am emotional while writing this email because I am here. Heavens Are Open!!!

I want to live like this. Drenching myself in the scriptures, every. single. day. Praying all the time. Trusting in the Lord. Strengthen my testimony. Honoring my covenants. And so much more. This past weekend, words of God were spoken to us by the Prophet, the Apostles, & the General Authorities of the church. We were uplifted, encouraged, and showered with love. I have listened to general conference all my life, but never like this. We gathered in the auditorium and sat to listen to every word spoken, taking notes along the way. I have so many things I want to say. Let's just say, if you didn't listen to conference this time... go & listen right now.      I want to just write some lines that stood out to me so much!!! If Christ were here, he would say He loves us. He would ask us to repent. With His help, you can carry any burden. See yourself as he sees you!!!
