A God Of...

The spirit is just undeniable. We felt so much of it this week & that fills my heart. So many times we left a lesson thinking that there is no way they couldn't feel what we just felt. One of them, we knew. It was Sebastian. He came out & tried to send us away telling us he was working, introduced us to his honey because he is a beekeeper, talked to us at the gate telling us of the hard moments of his life but also of the moments where he knew God is real, pulled up some chairs outside of his house & we taught him. All this we did in english. While we talked outside his gate, I felt God's love for him. Tears filled up my eyes. He called me out & later had me share why. I told him that God is aware of him & he wants to give him a rest & the happiness that he is looking for. He cried. We spoke to him of baptism & invited him to be baptized. He accepted. We met him on Monday night. It was a speciak aay to start the week. Things like this don't always have a happy ending though, which is okay. He is not quite ready & we are going to give him time. He will choose this one day. He felt it.

While walking the streets yesterday, there was a kid who looked at us in a longing way. We recognized that from afar & stopped him. The moment we said hi, he started to walk towards us. His name is Lautaro & he has a true desire to learn more about the truth. He told us he knows that God is love. It is true. He gives us all we have out of love. He said a prayer right there, in the street, to ask God if this was the path he should take. We know the spirit was there & he is going to feel so much peace as he keepslearning of Jesus Christ.

This week, all the youth went to FSY. So that means that on Sunday they all bore testimony. Oh how special that was. Each one got up, even our recent converts to say how the felt the spirit so strong & they know who they truly are. They know God answers prayers. This experience had changed them. Tears were flowing from each one. Just one week, one prayer, one church attendance, one time opening up the book to read, can truly change you. God works like that. He is a very simple but ever so powerful God. He makes His mark.

The Book of Mormon is true. I love reading from it every single day. It has taught me so many things about our Father in Heaven. He is a God of miracles. A God of light. A God of faith. A God of plainness. A God of promise. A God of peace. A God of love. He is always there. He has a plan so perfectly prepared for each of us with so much in store. Sometimes that plan is a bit rough, it just needs to be sometimes. We have to get through the hard to get to the better. The hard teaches us a little something. A God who teaches. A God who leads. A God who comforts. A God who stays. How blessed we are to have a God who gives us everything. I see it all throughout the Book of Mormon. It was written many years ago, but it still applies to us. It was written for us. So go read it. Go study it. Find more about who your God is.

How I love you. I pray for you.

With all my heart,

Hermana Morley
