Walking With Me

It has been a test of our faith. Of course miracles still flow & that brings so much peace. One of those sweet miracles was in exchanges. There were a few workers on the street sweeping from the fallen trees. We hurried by because we were in the way & the one worker yelled back at us. You guys are the ones who teach about family history, right? It was the best day. We explained to him & his friend about temples & about family search. Claudio & Daniel have so much faith. The spirit was with us in that sweet conversation. We gave them both phamplets to read about the restoration & invited them to church. Although they didn't come because they work, I have faith in them.

Yesterday when we were walking from house to house, we saw a man sitting outside & started to talk to him. He invited us to come closer because we were just yelling at him honestly because of the distance. We explained to him about the restoration. His heart was wide open & it felt like a breath of fresh air. His name is Hernan & he's actually the uncle of Eitan, a friend we were teaching a few weeks back!! So we're excited to see what happens with them. Both of them just ask questions & want to know the truth. We know as they act on their faith, the answers will be given to them.

We met so many people this week & had so many powerful lessons testifying of these truths we know to be true. Some people ready to listen & some just closing the door. Makes me think though, how blessed I am to have this in my life. I love this gospel with all my being. It is my anchor & the thing I fall back on when there are hard times. The scriptures have become a source of relief & peace for me throughout my mission. I love to open its pages & soak in all that the Lord has for me. Most especially, I love opening its pages with our dear friends & members to help them feel the same. There is nothing like sitting around a table & having each person feel & share what is in their heart with tears in the eyes.

This week, Hermana Neuendorf & I took a minute to think about some things we could start & stop doing to fully immerge ourselves even more into this work to really expect the miracles that are here waiting in this area. It was a sweet moment we had of reflection. We were walking in the street & I said a few words about just that & she mentioned the same exact thing I had in mind. We made change & felt peace. There are some things we needed to learn & we feel so blessed to have repentance. Even in simple, small changes, the atonement can bring an overwhelming feeling of joy. We felt light come even more into this work.

We had a few big conferences this week. Our zone council & the leadership council. Our zone council truly brought the spirit & really helped us all start the week off on a powerful note. We talked about continued discipleship & faith. Our zone leaders spoke about how much of a difference we can make in our areas. This is God’s work. We find people & God has already started to make an impact on their lives. He just asks us to follow Him & teach of Him. He wants us to go all in, & to do it forever. I love it.

My testimony of this gospel feels firm as a rock. This is the Church of Jesus Christ. He is at the head. We have a living prophet who is His voice piece. God is our Eternal Father. He loves us. He listens & answers our most simplest of prayers. Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He was here to teach us & to show us the way. He did it ever so perfectly & I love Him for that. He suffered, bled, & died for us. Not only that, He rose from the dead as a perfected, resurrected being. So it will be with us. Families can be together forever. What a peaceful thought. We know these pure & precious things because the church was restored. The temple is the House of the Lord. He lives. He walks with us. My most favorite thought. There's a primary song or two I've been singing quite a bit in the streets. "If the Savior stood beside me..." & "Heavenly Father, are you really there?" He is beside me & He is there. He is also with you. So go find Him.

I feel so very blessed. That’s all.

I love you all so much. I pray for you.

With all my heart,

Hermana Morley <3
